Kenya Prison trounce Benin  Police  to book first win in Tunis

Kenya's representatives at the ongoing Africa Men volleyball club championships - Kenya Prisons - on Monday  recovered from their opening day loss to beat Police from Benin  with a convincing 3-0 (25-13,25-09, 25-23) result.

Prison lost their opening match against Etoile Sahel on Friday and the win against Benin has resuscitated their hopes of a quarter final depending o0n the outcome of the final matches.

Prison will play their final group D match on Tuesday against Espoir.

In another match also played on Monday, Rwanda's University of Kibungo fought aggressively for 2 hours as they came from a set behind to win a thrilling encounter against Burkina's Douanes 3-2 (15-25, 25-21, 27-29, 25-16, 15-8) in Pool C

Libya's Swehly stunned Alnahda of Sudan 3-0 (25-13, 25-12, 25-15) in Pool B while record holders Ahly trounce hosts Esperance of Tunisia 3-0 (25-21, 25-21, 26-24) in Pool
