Kenya names volleyball squad for World Championships
Kenya has named a strong provisional squad that will commence training ahead of the World Championships in Japan
Kenya has named its provisional national women volleyball team squad that is expected to commence training early June in preparation for the forthcoming World Club Championships to be held in Japan.
With 11 players, former champions Kenya Prisons have contributed the highest Number of players in the team, while national defending champions Kenya Pipeline have nine players for the provisional squad.
Kenya has been drawn alongside former Olympic champions Brazil, European Champions Serbia, Kazakhstan, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.
Kenya qualified for the World Championships in Japan after finishing second during the Africa Cup of Nations held in Cameroon.
