Kenya and Egypt seal Africa Cup slots, to face off on Sunday

Kenya's Malkia Strikers and Egypt have both qualified for the Africa Women's Cup of Nations to be held in Yaoundé Cameroon in October.

The two teams  on Saturday picked their second wins at the ongoing Zone 5 qualifiers at the Kasarani indoor arena in Nairobi to confirm their place as the top two finishers in the four nations tournament.

On Saturday, Kenya doubled their win with an emphatic 3-0 (25-22, 25-16,25-16) victory over Rwanda  while Egypt had an easy 3-0 (25-14, 25-12, 25-14) cruise past Uganda to equal Kenya's win rate.

Kenya had beaten Uganda with straight sets on Friday while Egypt beat Rwanda with a similar margin.

The two teams  (Kenya and Egypt) will now face off on Sunday afternoon in what is expected to be a tense match that will determine who finishes at the summit of the regional table standings.

 With two loses each , Rwanda and Uganda will battle it out for the third spot in the first match at teh same Kasarani venue.
