Kariobangi Sharks lead as FKF release Harambee Stars U20 squad

Football Kenya Federation has released a provisional squad of 30 players expected to hit camp to prepare for interantional friendlies against Egypt and Tanzania.

The list of thirty was trimmed from a 99 players drawn from  Chapa Dimba na Safaricom Youth Tournament and FKF Leagues among others who attended four days of trials at Kasarani.

According to FKF Website, the team will report to camp on Sunday evening to prepare for the March friendlies that will  be used prepare for the 2019 African Youth Championships (AYC) to be staged in Niger.

Premier League side Kariobangi Sharks has produced the highest number in Brian Bwire,Vincent Wasambo,Henry Juma and Eric Kipkurui.  AFC Leopards has two players (Marvin Omondi and Yusuf Mainge), Mathare United has John Mwangi and Mike Odhiambo with only one player (Alpha Onyango) making it from reigning KPL Champions Gor Mahia.

High schools Kakamega High,Mukumu Boys and Kisumu Day all have made a good contribution to the team.
