Kimilili based Friends School Kamusinga reclaimed the national hockey crown during the secondary Schools Term 1 games at their backyard edging out Nairobi's Upper Hill in the finals .
Kamusinga , playing at their grounds in Bungoma County beat Upperhill 2-1 to bag a record 12th title , reclaiming the crown they lost to Narok boys in 2014.
Derrick Juma and Collins Mukarani sealed the victory for Kamusinga who enjoyed the home support while Moses Odhiambo scored for Upper Hill.
In the women's final's Lake side team Sinyolo Girls reclaimed their glory with Janet Awuor’s second half lone goal over Tigoi.
Kitale's St Anthony’s finished third after edging out former champions Narok Boys 3-0, while Kerugoya defeated Misikhu 3-0 to finish third in women's lineup.
