Jericho consolidate Super 8 lead

Jericho All Stars stretched their impressive run in the Sportpesa Super 8 Premier League (SPS8 PL) by pipping Kabete United 2- at Camp Toyo Grounds.

First half goals by Jericho hitmen Kelvin Ndung’u and Tom Okoth were enough to steer the league leaders to their fourth win in five matches.

A second half goal by Christopher Opongo in the second half goal was not enough to save the visiting side.

As a result of the outcome, Jericho extended their lead at the helm of the SPS8PL table to 13 points the same as Metro Sports but the latter has an inferior goal difference.
