Injera returns as Kenya names squad for Oceania

The Kenya rugby sevens squad for the Wellington and Sydney legs of the 2016/17 HSBC Sevens World Series was named on Wednesday by Head Coach Innocent Simiyu.

Simiyu has made five changes from the team that featured in Dubai and Cape Town sevens last year. 

Oscar Ouma, Eden Agero, Sammy Oliech, Bush Mwale and all time series top try scorer Collins Injera will be featuring in the team for the first time this season.

Kenya Sevens is pooled alongside Argentina, England and Papua Guinea for Wellington 7s and is set to leave for New Zealand on Sunday.

Kenya Squad: Dan Sikuta, Brian Tanga ,Andrew Amonde, Eden Agero, William Ambaka, Leonard Mugaisi, Bush Mwale, Augustine Lugonzo Billy Odhiambo, Collins Injera , Sammy Oliech, Oscar Ouma, Nelson Oyoo
