Hosts Carthage to play defending champions in finals

Host club Carthage of Tunisia will face Egyptian team Al Ahly in the finals of the 2016 CAVB Africa Volleyball club championships on Saturday in Tunis.

Ahly will be eyeing a second successive win  having claimed the crown last year at home when they beat seven times Champions Kenya Pipeline in the finals.

To qualify for the finals , Al Ahly had an easy time against tournament surprise package  Rwanda Revenue Authority who they beat in straight sets. RRA edged out Shams of Egypt 3-1 (25-21, 10-25, 29-27, 25-18) in quarterfinal to book their first ever semi finals ticket at the continental competition.
