Harambee Stars end Asian tour with loss to Thailand

Kenya’s Harambee Stars ended their Asian tour with a double loss following their 1-0 loss to Thailand in an international friendly match staged at the SCG Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on October 8.

The loss followed their earlier 2-1 defeat in another friendly 3 days earlier in Basra Iraq.

Thailand’s lone goal was tapped in from close range by Teerasil Dangda in the 63rd minute after custodian Boniface Oluoch failed to firmly grab a goal bound shot.

Stars will leave Bangkok on Monday and will land in Nairobi on Tuesday morning.
