FKF AGM Aborts amidst confusion

The much anticipated Football Kenya Federation Annual General Meeting failed to take place as planned as the Federation National Executive Council called it off with allegations of insecurity.

The meeting had been set to be held at the Sameta Lodge in Nyamira County on Friday and NEC says they had only invited 78 delegates and not the over 300 delegates who allegedly  forced their way to the meeting venue.

The AGM had been kept a huge secret by the Federation with the list of delegates not made public. Security officers present at the venue however dismissed insecurity claims.

The federation is expected to announce fresh dates for the AGM in the coming days.
