The behemoth that is Juventus is out to spoil Napoli’s hopeful Scudetto party. The Old Lady are only two points behind the Naples side and a win will take them to the top Serie A. Top is what they have been used to for the past four victorious seasons, top is what the Bianconeri haven’t tasted this season.

On Saturday night, anyone Juve, from Massimilliano Allegri, to the players, fans and owners, will be expectant with high hopes as table toppers Napoli visit the Juventus Stadium. They’ve been on a chase all season, from hovering above the relegation zone earlier on the season, to going second place after a streak of 14 consecutive league victories, which is yet to be broken.

In as much as the Partenopei are first, they are yet to beat Juve at the Juventus Stadium. In addition, the backline of the Old Lady has not conceded during their last seven matches across all competitions, making it the best defense in Serie A.

The best defense needs to be broken by the best attack, and that is what Napoli have in their arsenal. Top scorer, Gonzalo Higuian, he that was rejected by Real Madrid, has already scored 24 goals from 24 appearances so far this season, providing a gap of eleven goals over Juve’s Paulo Bruno Dybala. That tally has seen the Partenopei enjoy what has been an incredible season. The Little Donkeys are on an eight-match winning run, proving that when these top two clash, Napoli certainly will not be pushovers.

Though the top two will be locking horns, the next two will be in a fight for Champions League honors. Third placed Fiorentina will be hosting Internazionale Milan at the Stadio Artemio Franchi in Florence on Sunday.

Both teams are currently struggling with mixed results, with the Viola winning only two of their last six league affairs, while Inter has been on a free-fall from top spot, winning once in six matches, including last weekend’s 3-3 draw with bottom side Hellas Verona. That said, Fiorentina have beaten the Nerazzuri in their last three encounters.

AC Milan will welcome Genoa to the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium in need of closing the four point gap it has behind fifth placed AS Roma. Milan, which has been a shadow of the yesteryears, has been unbeaten in the last six matches, winning three, and a victory over the 16th placed side will be expected.
