Cameroon beat Egypt to win 5th African Title

Cameroon came from a goal down to beat Egypt 2-1 in the finals of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Libreville - Gabon on Sunday night .

Trailing the fancied Pharaohs at halftime , Cameroon's  Nicolas N’Koulou's  equalizer and a spectacular finish by Vincent Aboubakar three minutes to  the end of regulation time  crowned the Lions with their 5th African title, this being the first  in one and a half decades

Arsenal's Mohamed Elneny scored the opener for the Pharaohs in the first-half but N’Koulou and Aboubakar 's strikes in the second period stopped the Egyptian's match.

The African championship  win is a big boost to the Cameroonian  coach Hugo Broos who kept his faith in the youthful side  after foreign based Stars boycotted the  tournament.

Cameroon will host the next Africa Cup of Nations in 2019
