CAF announce emergency Grants to Member Associations
Kenya , one of the 54 member Associations as represented by Football Kenya Federation is expected to be among the beneficiaries of the CAF grant.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced that it will release a total of USD 10.8 Million to its 54 member Associations across Africa as an emergency fund to support the nations during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
In a statement on Thursday , CAF announced that, "At its meeting on Thursday (28 May 2020) via video-conference, the CAF Emergency Committee has approved the immediate distribution of financial grants to Member Associations (MA) to support the management of football at the domestic levels hugely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic."
The meeting decided to waive the eligibility requirements to access the annual grants, so all MA’s can benefit during this difficult period,” said CAF President Ahmad Ahmad.
