Bandari skipper Mulumba joins Zimbabwe’s FC Platinum

Mulumba has been a mainstay at Bandari where he has played for the last four and a half seasons and rose in stature to become skipper, leading them to two Football Kenya Federation Shield titles.

Bandari FC skipper Felly Mulumba has inked a two year deal with Zimbabwean outfit FC Platinum. The Congolese centre back has been in the Zimbabwean capital of Bulawayo for the last one week training with the reigning Zimbabwean champions.

He finally finalized on a deal on Thursday and signed outside the transfer window as a free agent with his contract at Bandari having lapsed.

“I am really pleased to make this move because it is a product of hard work. I have been here for the week and I love everything about the club. Their training, equipment and organization have really attracted me. It is almost the same as Bandari but now a new challenge,” Mulumba told Michezoafrika.com from Bulawayo.

“I really had a great time at Bandari and I want to thank them for giving me the opportunity to excel. It is because of their support that I am where I am today and they are a club that will always be in my heart,” noted the defender who has also played for Sofapaka.
