The national women volleyball team will on Sunday evening take on host team Cameroon in their second group A match at the ongoing Africa Olympic qualifiers  in Yaoundé.

The team will head into the match buoyed by their 3-0 win over Tunisia on Saturday, a result that ensured Kenya already qualified for the semi finals.

Cameroon had also defeated Tunisia 3-2  on Friday and the encounter against African champions Kenya will determine who finishes on top of Group A.

According to Kenya's technical director David Lung'aho, this is the toughest group and the winner of the pool  has more chances of qualifying to the finals.

"This was surely a tough pool in the tournament but that is what the draw decided. We have to be at our best  and I am happy the girls exposed great maturity on the court against a very tactical Tunisia. We now look forward to an even stronger challenge from  the host team this evening."
