Harry Gentle on a brace as Ligi Ndogo humbles Bata

Former AFC Leopards defender Harry Gentle netted a brace as Ligi Ndogo humbled Limuru’s Bata FC 4-1 in a friendly match played at the latter’s backyard in Limuru on Saturday.Josephat Murila’s son Tom Murila scored the third while William Otieno sealed the day with the fourth for the Ngong road based outfit.

On Sunday, Ligi Ndogo will play in another friendly match against a Kibera side in Nairobi before naming the final list of successful trialists who will be part of the club in the new season. Ligi Ndogo has been on a two week’s recruitment drive with hundreds flocking the Ngong road base for a chance in a side that has risen to being one of the best talent development centers in Kenya

Ligi Ndogo FC finished second in last year’s KFF league behind Muhoroni Youth who were elevated to the premier league.Ligi Ndogo is one of the oldest and most successful soccer academies in Kenya with majority of the players in the senior team having risen through the youth ranks.
