In what was to be climax of the Kenya national rally championship season finally, Carl "Flash" Tundo was all smiles winning the 33rd KCB Guru Nanak Rally in a time of 1.38.10. It was spiced up given that the newly crowned Championship winner was being navigated by his sister Tash Di Cangio.

Tim Jessop, the long time navigator of Tundo was this time round navigating Frank Tundo currently in the Division Two category.

 After the win Tundo had this to say. "This was supposed to be a no pressure rally and having fun. Having made it to the top podium finish is such a great thing for me and my navigator of the day my sister.” He said.

 “Winning Guru Nanak is awesome. It culminates what has been an incredible year with my Navigator Jessop.

“There is great competition at the moment between guys like, Ian Duncan , Beldev Chager, Azar Anwar , Alastair Cavenagh among others. Next year it is going to be much tough and faster.” He said.

Baldev Singh Chager, the 2004 Guru Nanak winner came second in  a time of 1.40.46 with veteran driver Azar Anwar finishing third in a time of 1.43.23.
