2012 Kenya National Rally Championship, KNRC, series winner Carl Flash Tundo has vowed to comeback stronger in the next season after being relegated to third this year.

Tundo lost to Baldev Singh Chager, who had sealed the KNRC covered prize  in the penultimate Guru Nanak Rally last month.

Former national champion veteran, Ian Duncan  who sped to victory on Sunday in the KCB Kilifi Rally took the bridesmaid overall position.  Duncan of the Mitsubishi Evolution 9, registered his third win of the season in Kilifi.

Tundo who failed to finish in the series opener in Kajiado early in the year said it was always going to be tough to come back from that bad start.

“Rally is about clean finishes and being the fastest, I have not been the most consistent person this year, I have won twice in Nyeri and Kisumu, But with drivers like Chager and Duncan one needs better than that. I have learnt a lot of things which I will need to work on before next season.”Said Tundo who missed the Kilifi series.

Tundo is preparing for the annual East African Safari Classic Rally to be held in this month before planning for next season.

“For now I have the classic Rally to think about, after that I will have all the time to think about the coming season.”He said.
