The Kenyan Premier League match pitting Gor Mahia and Tusker initially slated for Monday 27th next week has been brought forward to Sunday 26th this weekend. This is to give room for the national team to prepare for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Togo at Nyayo Stadium next Wednesday.
Both teams have a match later today .Gor Mahia will host newcomers Muhoroni Youth at Nyayo Stadium while Tusker takes on Western Stima at Bukhungu in a rescheduled matches that allowed the two teams take part in continental competition.
Gor Mahia lost 3-0 to Ferroviaro Maputo in the CAF Confederations Cup while Tusker settled for a barren draw with their opponents from Rwanda-APR- in the CAF Champions League.
The teams played against each other on 4th this month in the DSTV Super Cup, a match that acted as the curtain raiser to the KPL. Tusker won on post-match penalties.
