Tom Olaba has been confirmed as the new AFC Leopards Coach. Ingwe Chairman Alex Ole Magelo confirmed this on Tuesday afternoon while unveiling the team’s new signings. Olaba had been contracted by Leopards as the assistant coach with the team said to be shopping for a foreign coach.

“Olaba has been with AFC Leopards for a long time since the days when I was still a committee member of the team. I trust that he has what it takes to steer this team to great heights,” Magelo says.

“He has what it takes and he has all our support from us and I trust the players as well,” adds the Chairman.

Magelo has also exuded confidence that the team will win this year’s league after coming close last year.

“I know we have the best squad in East and Central Africa and we can perform extremely well this year. The coach has a full squad of able players and I would like to urge him to use all the players he has and not overuse certain players,” adds the Chair.
