Jerim Onyango rested as Awono releases line up

Gor Mahia captain Jerim Onyango will be rested tonight when his team takes on new comers Muhoroni Youth in a floodlit KPL fixture at Nyayo stadium. In his place, Ivo Mapunda will take charge of Gor Mahia’s nets while Wycliffe Kasaya will be on the bench.

“I wish the team all the best, our depth is strong and everyone is equal to the task.” Said Jerim Onyango.

After missing out in the weekend line up in Maputo, Donald Mosoti is back at the heart of Gor Mahia’s defense line while Kevin Master Ochieng starts on the full back two position.Musa Mohammed and Christopher Wekesa are also in defense.

Collins Okoth, Rama Salim and Ali Abondo will start in midfield as Antony Nyangor, Baldin Ngwa and Dan Makori lead the attack.

Other regular players missing  in today's clash include Ivan Anguyo, Moses Otieno, George Midenyo and Kevin Omondi.
