Immediate former Sony Sugar striker Enock Agwanda has finally joined Sofapaka. Agwanda was set to sign for Batoto ba Mungu last year but a contractual disagreement between Sony and Sofapaka stalled the move.

Last season, Agwanda had agreed on personal terms with Sofapaka but his club Sony Sugar turned down Sofapaka's intended buy out of his one year contract.Agwanda’s contract at Sony ended after the 2012 season making him a free agent to move.

“We have finalized with Agwanda. Everything is settled and he is now our player. He is a great asset to the team and we are glad to have him with us,” Sofapaka boss Elly Kalekwa told michezoafrika.com.

At the same time, Hillary Echesa who had been plying his trade in Malaysia for the last one year is also expected to join the team.

“Echesa has gone for trials in Europe and we expect him to be back with us in case soon,” Kalekwa told michezoafrika.com.

Retired Titus Mulama is also expected to be back in the team. Mulama had a stint with Congolese side St. Elloi Lupopo before returning to join his brother Simeon Mulama who was the coach at Nakuru All Stars for half a season in 2012.He brings with him a wealth of experience.
