Debut for new boys as Ingwe and Chemelil release line ups

Eric Masika will today afternoon debut for his side AFC Leopards as the former champions take on Chemelil on day one of the 2012 KPL season at the Nyayo national stadium. Former Chemelil FC duo of Abbas Kiwalabye and Victor Ochieng will also be making their first appearance for Ingwe against their former club.

Former Karuturi full back Amon Muchiri is also part of the Ingwe team but will start from the bench.

KPL’s most expensive player Eric Masika will don the blue jersey after switching allegiance from arch-rivals Gor Mahia. He said “This is a big moment for my career and am looking forward to walk out in blue.”

Notable absentee from AFC Leopards’ squad is Allan Wanga who will miss the match due to complications with the acquisition of his transfer certificate from his former team HAGL.

Bernard Mang’oli takes the captain’s arm band in place of the missing captain Martin Imbalambala who is out on injury.

Former Gor Mahia midfielder Hadji Mwachoki also debuts for the sugar men Chemelil who will are out to extend their good run against the Leopard.
