Multimedia University head coach George Jalango has set his eyes on six points when his side face Wazalendo Youth and Thika Rovers respectively over the weekend at the City Park Stadium.

Since the surprise 1-0 defeat to Parklands in the season opener, the students are yet to drop a point going on to win three consecutive matches.

Jalang’o whose side is returning to the fray after a lengthy spell out due to students strike can assume leadership of the league with the crucial wins.

“We want to jump back to the fray and collect as many points as possible. I must admit most of the players are a bit rusty having not played for quite some time. However our target has not changed.” He said.

Jalang’o is aware that for an institution club, the only way to get automatic qualification to top flight hockey is by topping the national league.

“My players can do it the hard way to gain promotion. The league is quite young to talk about promotion, however we have to keep our eyes on the target.” He said.

Multimedia having played four matches are second on the log with nine points behind league leaders Nakuru club with 15 points from five matches.
