The national soccer team Harambee Stars will play against South Africa's Bafana Bafana in an international FIFA recognized friendly in Nairobi on Tuesday October 16

FKF’s Chairman of technical committee confirmed this by saying: “We have agreed with SAFA that the Bafana Bafana team will pass through Nairobi  on their way to South Africa from Poland  and they will play one friendly match against Kenya”

Apart from South Africa, other countries that have expressed interest in playing against Kenya include Macedonia and Ethiopia.

Harambee Stars' coach Henri Michel on Tuesday hinted on another friendly against Rwanda. The friendlies will be used as a buildup before the CHAN match against Burundi. The coach has been assessing a squad of 29 players at Kasarani  from  whom he plans to use in the upcoming assignments.

“We came when the KPL calendar had already been set up and there is very little we have to do now, we just have to work with the little time that is available. We need to use friendly games to prepare well and we will play enough of these matches as preparation.” Michel said on Tuesday.
