Kenya International handball player Bryan Oduor’s side Mors Thy Handbol will be appearing for the first time in the play offs of the Danish Handball League since its formation in 2007.

The team which was placed 7th at the end of the normal season managed to beat TMS Ringsted 25-20 on Wednesday evening to book a spot in the play offs.

Speaking to michezoafrika.com after the match, Oduor was excited by the result stating that the whole team was full of morale, “our main aim was to reach the play offs this season and we have achieved that. Everybody is happy since it is the first time, we have made history. I thank God, my team mates and our fans for the support that has enabled us to reach here.”

Oduor who can play at right back, left back and play maker was also quick to thank the people back home saying that they always give him motivation to work harder, “I always see the response I get from home of my little achievements and I get determined to work harder, my aim is to represent Kenya well and hopefully with time see our country become a handball power house.”

Mors Thy Hanbol currently has two teams with the main team taking part in the top most league that is the Danish Handball League while the second team participates in the second tier league. Oduor who has had an impressive season hitting over a hundred goals, has managed to rise through the ranks and now plays in the first team occasionally being required to boost the 2nd team.
