MVP Andala: Winning will be our aim in Djibouti

The Most Valuable Player in the 2011/2012 Kenya Handball Federation League, women’s category Merina Andala states that the aim of the  Kenyan U-20 team is to win each and every match as they head to Djibouti for the Men’s and Women’s IHF Continental Phase Trophy slated to kick off on the 7th of April.

Andala who plays for Nairobi Water in the K.H.F League is part of the U-20 women’s team that travelled to Djibouti on Thursday morning and she will be looking forward to assisting the team in every way possible so that they can head to the World Championship in Pakistan, “we will take one team at a time but our main priority will be winning all our matches and I will do everything that I can to achieve this. Team work will be crucial for us in order prosper.”

Kenya has been pooled alongside Djibouti, Senegal and Mozambique and their first match will be against the hosts.
