KHF Coast branch to hold Chairlady’s Cup

The Kenya Handball Federation Coast branch will be holding its first tournament since being elected into office. The tournament will be dubbed the “Chairlady’s Cup” and will go down this weekend at the Tudor Secondary School.

The tourney has attracted a total of ten teams and will see the Director of Sports, Mombasa County Jacob Odhiambo as the tournament’s Chief Guest.

Caroline Nyadiero the Coast Branch Chairlady says they are looking forward to organizing more tournaments in order to improve the development of handball at the Coast, “this is just the first tournament and we are going to have more. We have cups and medal prizes for the winners and am confident that with time Coast’s handball level will be at the top.”

The tournament is expected to kick off on Saturday from 8:00 am.
