Kenya International to feature in European Cup

Kenyan International handball player Bryan Oduor will be playing in the EHF European Cup after his team Mors Thy Handbol finished 4th in the Danish Masters Handball League.

This is the first time Oduor’s team has finished in the top four since it was formed in 2007. EHF European Cup is the second tier of competition after the Champions League which comprises of the first two teams of the top handball leagues across Europe.

Oduor’s journey to top flight handball in Denmark has come a long way having featured for Ziwani, 2013 KHF League Champions Black Mamba and the East and Central Defending Champions National Cereals and Produce Board before heading abroad.

Speaking to michezoafrika.com Oduor states that despite the fact that Mors missed an opportunity to play in the Champions League they out did themselves and that he was proud of being part of the team, “we were so near since all the stages that were eliminated the margin of goals were very close. All in all I am proud with what we have achieved.”

Oduor will be the first Kenyan to feature in the one of the most prestigious handball competitions.
