Kenya Handball referees to officiate in Morocco

George Ondeko and Dennis Ayieko of the Kenya Handball Federation will be part of the match officials handling matches at the Africa Handball Club Championship that will kick off from the 16th of November in Morocco.

The pair was chosen in regards to being the best after undertaking a refereeing course held last year at the Nyayo handball Court. The course was facilitated by International Handball Federation Playing Rules Commission Board of instructors Cherif Ndiaye from Senegal and Terji from Norway.

Speaking to michezoafrika.com Charles ‘Jaji’ Omondi the KHF Fixture Secretary and also an instructor applauded the pair pointing out that it was a positive step in the growth of handball officiating in Kenya,

“ they were chosen purely on merit, they were best and that is why they had the chance to head to Morocco. It is good that we have referees of their caliber amongst us.”
