The Danish national handball team could train in Kenya in August 2013. This is according to Kenya Handball Federation League Fixture Secretary Charles ‘Jaji’ Omondi.

Omondi was speaking after the exhibition match between a Denmark select team from the Street Handball Organization that was in the country for a Peace and Sports Festival versus a Kenya Select, Denmark won the friendly played at the Nyayo stadium court.

“We are currently negotiating with the contingent from the Street Handball Organization whom have very close ties with the Danish Handball Federation and if all goes as agreed then we may have the Denmark National team training here in August.” Omondi says.

“As you know Denmark is one of the handball power houses in the world and Kenya hosting them will come with great benefit.” Omondi concluded.
