The President of the Confederation of African Handball (CAHB) Monssouru Aremou toured the handball facilities within Nairobi over the weekend as Kenya seeks to hosts the Africa Club Championship that are slated for November this year.

Aremou passed through the country from the IHF Continental Phase Trophy Challenge that had been hosted by Djibouti and according to Charles Omondi the KHF Fixture Secretary, the President was pleased with what he saw and that Kenya was at the fore front to hosting the event,

“The President managed to visit Kasarani and he was satisfied with what he saw, so we might as well be optimistic that we can the host the prestigious event in our back yard.”

Last year Kenya hosted the East and Central Handball Club Championship which was won by the National Cereals Produce Board (Kenya) in the men’s category while Heritage from DR Congo won the women’s category.
