Martin Abunde the Black Mamba Handball Club head coach is full of confidence saying his side is ready for the Kenya Handball Federation League that is to kick off next weekend.

Black Mamba played two friendly matches in the past weekend against defending Champions National Cereals Board of Kenya and Strathmore University losing to Cereals 42-36 but picked up their pieces to beat Peter Mwathi’s students’ side 29-19 on Friday and Saturday respectively.

According to Abunde, he achieved what he had planned, “on Friday I was looking at Speed and by my standards the boys achieved that. With Strathmore I was looking at endurance considering we had played a match a day before and the boys managed to play and win, I am sure we are ready for anything in the national league.” He says.

Black Mamba were runners up at the 2011/2012 KHF League and the winners of the Madaraka Day Open Handball Tournament.
