Denmark’s Lasse Jensen is currently topping the leader board of the ongoing Kenya Open championships as the 44th edition of the tourney nears its homestretch.

The Danish took up the lead from his fellow country man Madsen Orum in the 3rd round after registering a 6 under par 65 by the end of day 3 of the annual tournament. Jensen managed 6 birdies and pars in the remaining 12 holes. His total score stands at -8.

Kenya’s favorite Dismas Indiza on the other hand had a rough round 3 after he finished in a tied 21 position with a 4 over 75. The score leaves the 44 yr old with a total score of -1. He managed a single birdie in hole 18 and 2 bogeys in hole 14 and 16 but it was hole 15 which proved challenging after he hit the hole after a triple bogey.

The result left Indiza ousted at the top of the Kenyan table with his fellow country man Brian Njoroge finishing at tied position 9.

Njoroge managed 3 birdies and 3 bogeys finishing at a save par 71 score. His overall point still stands at -4.

The winner will walk away with a KSH 3 million package a portion of the total kshs. 20.8 million Prize money set aside for this year’s edition.
