Dismas Indiza was the best placed Kenyan after Thursday’s play at the 2015 Barclays Kenya Open at the Karen Country Club. He posted a three under par 69 and is placed joint fifteenth with sixteen other players heading into Friday action and will be hard pressed to play a better round of golf if he aspires to make Friday’s cut.

Amateur player Alfred Nandwa was the second best placed Kenya, placing joint thirty second going after shooting a two under par 70.

Meanwhile, José-Felipe Lima shot to the top of the leaderboard at Karen.

The 33 year old, who has finished runner-up on the second tier Rankings on two separate occasions – in both 2009 and 2013 – carded eight birdies on Thursday at Karen Country Club to carve out a narrow two stroke advantage after 18 holes.

Play continues on Friday.
