There will be six tournaments of four rounds each for professionals with amateurs playing in the final round of each event in the 2013 KCB Advantage Banking Golf Tour.

During the tour, professionals will undertake free coaching clinics for amateurs at the various clubs to help them improve their game while the organizers will conduct golfing clinics for the media in an effort to create better understanding of the game and enhance participation.  

 KCB Group CEO Joshua Oigara said the bank will organize a number of corporate social responsibilities alongside the series.

On Monday the event was boosted when KCB renewed its sponsorship by injecting Sh23million in the 2013 KCB Advantage Banking Golf Tour.

The money will be used to cater for logistics including publicity, branding, activations, promotions and prizes in the six series tournament; Sh6million has been set aside for prizes.

Top three winners in order of merit will battle it out for the South Africa’s Ned Bank Golf tour position which will be granted to the winner, the trip will be fully sponsored by KCB.

“We are hopeful to see large number of participants this year, this edition  is a must for both professional and amateurs who are looking forward to take their golf skills to the  next level,” said Charania who has advised professional golfers to help young players  realize their dream in the industry apart from offering them life skills.
