Amateur golfers set for the Toyota golf day

Over 200 amateur golfers will take part in the 2012 edition of the Toyota golf day.The outing will take place at the Windsor Golf Hotel and Country Club course on Friday 20th April.The 18-hole golf event will involve the Toyota company dealers, clients and staff.

According to Naoki Takeuchi, the Toyota Kenya managing Director, the company is committed to contribute towards the improvement of the standard of the game in the country. Recently, they also extended their sponsorship to the Kenya Open which Englishman Benson Seve emerged the winner.

The one day event has also attracted attention of various heads of the country's leading corporate organizations, such as former Ambassador of the Republic of Kenya to Japan and Korea, Dennis Awori, Minister of Transport, Hon. Amos Kimunya, CBA Bank Managing Director, Isaac Awuondo and Vincent Rague Senior Financial Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance at the Kenyan Treasury as well as Takeuchi himself.

 Windsor’s golf Captain Asiif Padamshi has expressed his appreciation towards the efforts Toyota has put in the growth of Golf in Kenya,
