Sofapaka humiliate Vimbwanga
Former Kenya Cup Champions Sofapaka FC on Sunday walloped Mombasa based Vimbwanga FC 8-0 in a one sided Gotv Shield Match at the Mbaraki stadium in Mombasa.
Enock Agwanda and Danson Kago each scored twice while Mustapha Kasolo, Anthony Kimani, Collins Shivachi and Anthony Ekaliani each grabbed a goal to complete the merciless rout.
Elsewhere in Nairobi, Tusker survived narrowly with substitute Ali Abondo scoring late in the match to earn the hosts a 3-2 win over hard fighting Western Stima in a match played at Ruaraka.
Talanta FC were also 2-0 winners over Mahakama with Timothy Otieno scoring both goals.
