Kasaya roughed up by fans after Gor-Sony clash

Sony Sugar keeper Wycliffe Kasaya experienced double tragedy after his side lost to Gor Mahia in the GOTV Semi-final  then a group of rowdy fans descended their blows on him after the match.

It took the intervention of Gor Mahia officials to save the superrb Kasaya from the goons who were hell bent on causing more misery to him.

During the match, the former K'Ogalo custodian saved Kevin Omondi's penalty and his time wasting antics earned him a yellow card but this ensured Sony held on for a nil-nil draw that led to penalty kicks that Gor Mahia eventually won.In the first half,Omondi gave a hand to help Kasaya lace his boots.

During their league match in Awendo, Kasaya was in the thick of controversy that led to abandonment of the match whose fate is still undecided up-to-date.

With Kasarani Stadium pitch being one of the best in security management, it remains to be seen how Football Kenya Federation will react as this was a clear manifestation of security lapse.
