Nzoia United on Saturday came from behind to beat their hosts Nairobi Stima 1-2 in an FKF Premier League match played in Machakos.

This becomes the sixth win for Nzoia United and Coach Bernard Mwalala is full of praise for his team saying, “I am proud of my boys. They performed well and held on with good mental strength to come from down and win a crucial match away from home. I am excited with the growth in the team especially in composure and mental hold.” Mwalala told michezoafrika.com.

Valen Mahero was the hero for Nzoia United scoring a brace in the match both assisted by Boniface Muchiri.

Stima were the first to score in the 50th minute but Mahero cancelled the lead in the 72 minute before sealing the win in the 82nd minute for a 1-2 win.

“We now immediately shift our attention to our next match at home against Modern Coast next weekend on Saturday.” Mwalala adds.
