Ligi Ndogo, Oserian in early wins

Ligi Ndogo, Oserian, Nairobi Stima and Mahakama collected maximum points last weekend as the Nationwide Super League kicked off across the country with eleven matches played.

In the Zone A, Ligi Ndogo rallied to beat a fancied Talanta FC at the City stadium on Saturday to start their campaign on a sound note while Oserian on the other hand were 3-2 winners over Moyas at the Hope Center in Kawangware.

George Omondi scored a double while Edmond Situma scoring one for Oserian with Martin Wachira while Alex Libechi scored for MOYAS.

Mahakama were 2-1 winners over Bidco United at the Delmonte grounds while Nairobi Stima picked a crucial 1-0 away win over Modern Coast  Rangers in Mombasa on Sunday.
