Three Kenya women cricket players jetted back in Nairobi this week after a five day cricket training clinic in Johannesburg, South Africa. Led by Captain Emily Ruto, the players benefited from the training organized by the country’s senior elite academy. The other players were Daisy Wairimu and Sharon Juma.
“We met with several other players from different countries, for the training which started on Saturday. It was a wonderful experience, one that I could love to share with my fellow teammates.” Said team captain Emily Ruto
“We are bound to benefit a lot in terms of competitiveness because Kenya cricket has indeed gained by having the capacity of the younger participants enhanced. “ she added.
