Controversial Liverpool striker Luis Suarez scored in the 97th minute to give Livepool a well fought 2-2 draw at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.

Chelsea was first to draw blood when Brazilian Oscar scored with a superb header in the near post on the 25th minute after a corner swung in by Juan Mata. The home side continued to hustle for an equalizer and in the 40th minute Suarez had a chance on goal with a hard short but Chelsea keeper Petr Cech managed to save it and the first half ended 1-0.

In the second half Liverpool continued to press on and pressure the London side and it paid off in the 50th minute with a superb team effort which saw Suarez pick out Sturridge for the equalizing goal against his former team.

Four minutes later Suarez was in the mix of things but this time round against his team when he handled the ball in the box in the 54th minute with the preceding penalty taken by Eden Hazard who put Chelsea ahead once more when he sent Pepe Reina the wrong way.

The subsequent events would leave Chelsea awed when Suarez appeared to bite Branislav Ivanovic and later score a late goal in extra time to deny the Blues 3 points. The draw means that Chelsea lies fourth with 62 points behind Arsenal with a game in hand and therefore still in contention in booking a Champions League slot.
