 Members of the   newly constituted Sports Dispute Tribunal were sworn in on Monday at the Supreme Court in a ceremony witnessed by Chief Justice Dr. Willy Mutunga.

The nine member team led by John Morris Ohaga who specializes in Disputes Resolution and Litigation will deal with disputes arising from national sports organizations and sports related disputes which will be referred to the tribunal.

Ohaga will be deputized by veteran journalist Elynah Wanyika Sifuna who works with the state broadcasting corporation KBC.

Other members of the Tribunal are Jane Njeri Onyango, David Gichuru Kiplagat, Gabriel Ouko, Mary Nyokabi Kimani, David Gichuru Kiplagat, Peter Ochieng and Robert Asembo.

 In an interview with shortly after taking their oaths, Ohaga promised that his team will get down to work and expedite matters brought before it.

‘We are here to serve with objectivity and fairness to the best of our ability. All members are ready for the challenge and are braced for the task ahead,” Ohaga said.
