Uganda off for Cecafa, Keeper still a doubt

Uganda is expected in Dar es Salaam,Tanzania  on Wednesday ahead of the Cecafa tournament that kicks off on Friday. Uganda Cranes will open their campaign against Zanzibar on Friday in a group B match. Other members in the group, Burundi and Somalia, will also arrive on Wednesday ahead of their match on Friday.

Uganda Cranes coach Bobby Williamson has said that he will use the tournament to test his team’s creativity and scoring. Uganda has lifted the Cecafa cup a record 11 times.

After the confirmed unavailability of first choice shot stopper Dennis Onyango, coach Williamson will not welcome news that keeper his main replacement,Abel Dhaira is not a hundred percent fit. The keeper who plies his trade in Iceland with IBV collided with a Moroccan player during the recently concluded LG Cup.
